Cibubur, July 2026 – To commemorate National Children’s Day 2026, Avenzel Hotel & Convention held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled “A Joyful Day at Avenzel” in collaboration with the Kelana Foundation. This event provided a fun learning experience for children through a series of educational activities that introduced them to the world of hospitality firsthand.

The event was attended by 25 children under the care of the Kelana Foundation, who come from various underprivileged family backgrounds in the Cileungsi area and its surroundings. Despite their economic limitations, some of them continue to strive to pursue an education; some even help support their families by working as scavengers after school. Meanwhile, others have not yet had the opportunity to fully access formal education. Through its non-formal education-based mentoring program, the Kelana Foundation strives to support these children so they can continue to have opportunities to learn, develop their potential, and build hope for a better future.

To support these efforts, Avenzel Hotel & Convention invited the participants to enjoy a unique learning experience through the “Happy Day at Avenzel” event, which included visits to guest rooms, the restaurant, the pool area, and other facilities. Not only did the children get to see firsthand how a hotel operates, but they were also introduced to the various professions within the hospitality industry and the importance of teamwork in providing the best service to guests. The fun continued with the “Little Hospitality Workshop,” where participants took part in a cupcake decorating activity with the Food & Beverage team.

To wrap up the series of activities, the children enjoyed a foam party in the pool area. The atmosphere, filled with laughter and joy, served as a memorable conclusion while reinforcing the spirit of National Children’s Day as an opportunity to bring happiness, learning opportunities, and new experiences to every child.
