In commemoration of World Heart Day, Avenzel Hotel & Convention held a health talk show themed “High Cholesterol Causes Coronary Heart Disease” in the hotel lobby. This event was a collaboration with Mitra Keluarga Cibubur Hospital, as part of Avenzel's commitment to raising awareness of the importance of maintaining heart health from an early age.
The talk show featured expert speaker Dr. Ian Elnathan, SpPD, an internal medicine specialist from Mitra Keluarga Cibubur Hospital, who provided in-depth education to hotel guests and the general public about the risks of high cholesterol and its link to coronary heart disease.
During the event, participants also had the opportunity to undergo free health checks, such as blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid tests, as well as enjoy a variety of healthy food and beverage options provided by Avenzel Hotel.
"Coronary heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, and one of its risk factors is high cholesterol. Through this activity, I hope that the community can become more aware of the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes to prevent heart disease," said Dr. Ian Elnathan, SpPD from Mitra Keluarga Cibubur Hospital.
This talk show is also a form of Avenzel Hotel's commitment to presenting programs that are not only entertaining but also provide educational and beneficial value for guests.
“We believe that hotels can be more than just a place to stay. Through programs like this, we want to encourage guests to be more concerned about their health. Our collaboration with Mitra Keluarga Cibubur Hospital is a concrete step to make a positive impact on the community,” said Sonia Persia, Marketing Communication of Avenzel Hotel & Convention.
Avenzel Hotel is committed to continuing to host activities that support a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle, in line with the spirit of World Heart Day, which this year carries the theme “Don’t miss a beat.”
